A Future in Space

Elon Musk is South African... and so are we... and he holds all our African Hopes for Space Exploration ... Considering we have not been back to the Moon again the world was sceptical ... not flat earth wierdos... We Africans are not stupid... We know the world aint flat ... but we wonder alot...

The late 2000's a guy by the name of Elon Musk popped up... and had glorious ideas of Space Exploration... Our Business Geotechnical Solutions was about 1 year old... Musk had formed Space Exploration Technologies and it was facing similar challenges... Musk needed money, clients and trust... Boeing and the gang were rooting for his failure...

A Launch Date was announced ... So on Facebook we gathered... Space X Mission Control, its Employees and us... The little hopefulls worldwide... The was no announcements or commentators...The rocket was launched... And Failed... Everyone was crushed... All that hard work and hope instantly exploded...

Days on... Musk announced that he had secured funding for 2 more launches... Hope was restored and we loved it... Dragon was launched and we watched as it reached the International Space Station... Space X mission control and the staff were a success... The rest as they say is History...

However the real history was written yesterday the 06 February 2018 (06/02/2018)... Falcon Heavy Launched... Returned its boosters to earth and it all looked Sci-Fi and spectacular... We as South Africans are proud of Elon Musk and His Brilliant Team at Space X... We as the world and Humanity are even more proud... This humble man deserves much success...
